SAFARI PARK ZOO
There are so many tourist
attractions in Bogor, such as amusement park, waterfalls, museums, Botanical Garden
and many more. Taman Safari Indonesia is one of the most Top Places to go in
Bogor. It is located in Kapten Harun Kabir Street No. 724, Cibeureum, Cisarua,
Bogor, West Java. A suitable destination for a family vacation. It offers
vacation experience as well as education because you can teach your kids about
animals, whether it’s tame or wild
animals.
Taman Safari Bogor covers an area of 170 hectares
(420 acres) and houses a collection of 2,500 animals, including Bengal tigers, Malayan sun bears, giraffes, orangutans, hippos, zebras, and Sumatran elephants. Some, such as the Bali myna, are involved in conservation projects. The
majority of the species represented are Indonesian.
Visitors are encouraged to drive through the park
and it is possible to come within touching distance of most of the animals.
Some areas allow for guests to feed animals from their cars. Guests are not
allowed to feed carnivores, and the area that showcase carnivores such as
tigers and lions are monitored by the warden. Guests are not allowed to step
out from the car. Guests that didn't own cars may see the safari areas from
buses that are run on schedule. Sometimes, many wild Long tailed macaque and Plantain squirrel can be seen roaming the Safari area.
There are attractions that can give you special
experience, such as Elephant Trail, Feeding Penguin, Swimming with Dolphin,
Animal Ride, Feeding Red Panda, and Feline Feeding Advanture, the first ever in
Indonesia you can feeding dozen of African lions. In the amusement area, there
are lost of amusement ride like Lolly Swing, Kincir Raksasa, Speedway, Crazy
Plane, Kevin Hill, and many more. There is also Safari Waterpark with some
water slides.
If you are hungry, don’t worry, because there are
some restaurants too. There are Canavan Resto in the Safari area that can give
you the beautiful view of the scenery with lots of canavan for staying
overnight, Panda Restaurant in Panda Palace area, Restaurant Rainforest with
some decoration of tropical rainforest, Rimba Foodcourt, Safari Bento, and
Safari Kuring that serves Sundanese foods.
Bungalows and camping sites are available for
guests who wish to stay in the park overnight.

Bogor opens on weekdays from 08.30a.m – 05.00p.m, on weekend and holidays from
08.00a.m – 05.00p.m, and for Safari Night it opens from 06.30p.m – 09.00p.m.
The ticket price on
weekdays is Rp.170.000 for children, Rp.195.000 for adults, on weekend and
holidays is Rp.210.000 for children and Rp.230.000 for adults.
